Guide Dogs Has Exciting News Plus FREE Toy Special Offer

Guide Dogs For The Blind is currently working on a very exciting project – the redevelopment of their National Breeding Centre in Warwickshire.  Construction work is finally coming towards its end and the Centre is expected to open to visitors later in 2011.

As well as offering modern facilities which enhance dog and staff welfare, the centre will also allow the charity to cater for larger groups of visitors showing them where life begins for a guide dog.

The new Breeding Centre is critical to Guide Dogs goal of helping more blind and partially sighted people get out and about independently especially given the fact that there are around 180,000 blind and partially sighted people in the UK who never leave home alone.

The Centre will be able to breed more healthy and happy puppies that help the charity achieve its target of creating 800 new guide dog partnerships in 2011, puppies like their current adorable sponsorship puppies Ufton, Unity and Taylor. The Sponsor a Puppy scheme is a fantastic way to support a young guide dog and follow it’s fascinating adventure from the early stages of it’s life.
